Geneva according to… Maïko Nicolet

For those not familiar with Maïko, he is one of the geniuses behind the taste sensation, Inglewood (mentioned here, in our Best of Burgers post). Growing up in Geneva, Maïko has kindly offered to share some local secrets and some of his favourite haunts. There’s no better way to learn about our city then from a local.

How long have you been in Geneva?
I was born in Geneva, so pretty much all my life.

What do you like best about living in Geneva?
The lake in the summer and the fact we are close to all the nice mountains in the winter. The old centre and the country side are really nice as well!

Where do you like to…

EatLe Relais de L’entrecôte
DrinkBar du Nord, La Petite Reine, Yvette de Marseille, Terrasse de la Clémence
Rest and relaxTropical Wake Centre, Bains des Pâquis, Versoix Lake and I like to go to my summer cottage in Valais

What is one thing only a local would know?
Secret Versoix beach
